After much work and anticipation, I participated in my first Demolition Derby on Saturday, October 8 at the HogWild Fall Brawl and Aut-Oberfest (http://www.hogwildderby.com/) ! I competed in the Truck class where I wired, bolted and welded my 1985 Chevrolet C10 to make a run. It's a lot of hard work and wrenching to get a vehicle prepared for a Demolition Derby but it's also a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I was pinned against the wall early on in the heat so, I wasn't able to get many good hits in. Thankfully, there's enough truck in tact to make another run. Be on the lookout next spring for the Pittsburgh Pounder truck to make an appearance at the Lions Club in Nex Alexanderia, PA.

In addition to being a part of the demolition derby, I also created 2 paintings which were shown in the Art Barn sponsored by Most Wanted Fine Art at the event. My role extended even further being the Chief Graphic Designer for the event; creating the event posters, passes, t-shirts and ads.
